Q: What makes your school different from traditional daycare?  

We are a nature-based childcare academy focused on relationships, emotional wellbeing, hands-on learning, and outdoor exploration. Children experience structured learning while also spending meaningful time connecting with nature, movement, creativity, and play.

Q: What is your approach to behavior and emotional support? A: We focus on relationship-building, emotional wellbeing, structured routines, positive guidance, and helping children develop confidence, independence, and strong social-emotional skills.

Q: What should I do next if I’m interested? A: The next step is to schedule a tour so we can learn more about your family’s needs, answer your questions, and help you determine the best program option for your child. Schedule tours from home page of website.

Q: Can I tour the school before enrolling? A: Absolutely. We encourage all families to schedule a tour to experience our environment, meet staff, and determine whether we are the right fit for their family. 

What ages do you accept?

We currently provide care for children approximately 6 weeks through 12 years old.  
Q: Do you provide after-school care? A: Yes. We offer after-school care and transportation options depending on availability and school location.

What are your hours?

 We are open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 AM until 12:00 AM. We are closed Sundays. 

What are the fees?

Q: What are your tuition rates? A: Tuition depends on the schedule selected, the child’s age, and care needs. Current pricing can be found on our pricing/payments tab of the website.

Q: Is there an enrollment fee? A: Yes. A $200 deposit/enrollment fee is required to hold a child’s spot or waiting list position.

Q: Do you accept CAPS? A: Yes, we do work with CAPS families. Depending on approval amounts and schedules, some families may still have a weekly family co-pay responsibility. 

Do you offer drop-in care?

 Yes, we do offer drop-in childcare based on availability. Families should contact us with the child’s age, and the dates/times care is needed. 

Q: What is the “Test Drive” program? A: Our Test Drive option allows families to experience the program before fully committing. Families complete the enrollment application, bring a change of clothes, and submit the required deposit.

Q: Are meals included? A: Yes. We focus on introducing children to healthy eating habits and provide vegetarian meal options as part of our program philosophy.

Q: Do children go outside often? A: Yes. Outdoor exploration is an important part of our nature-based program. Children are encouraged to explore, move, learn, and build confidence through safe outdoor experiences.

Q: Are your teachers trained? A: Yes. Staff members complete required Georgia childcare trainings plus many additional trainings. All staff have clear background checks. All lead teachers are required to have a childcare credential which could be CDA, TCC, or any degree plus childcare training. Training includes safety, supervision, child development, health, nutrition, Marcus Autism Crisis Prevention training, CPR certification and family support education
 

What do I need to bring once I enroll my Child?

Q: Do parents need to provide diapers and wipes? A: For children ages 2 and under, diapers and wipes are included as part of our comfort care approach.
Q: Do parents need to bring outdoor clothes? A: No. We provide outdoor playwear, weather-appropriate clothing, boots, and gear so children can comfortably participate in outdoor activities without placing extra burden on parents.
Q: What is Comfort Care? A: Comfort Care includes diapers, wipes, sheets, blankets, and outdoor gear to simplify life for busy families and help children remain comfortable throughout the day.
